I know I have said it a million times on this blog...but wow time is just flying! Little Paz here had her first birthday not too long ago, and just like her sister before we captured all the details of the celebration! It started out with some images of the family in their home, and then on to cake, guests, and bath time to end the afternoon. I love photographing things that normally are not -- like bathtime -- because it is definitely hard for the parents to do themselves! This is one of my favorite families, and walking through their home it was a living timeline of their growing family. I feel so honored...enjoy the show!
Her theme was bumblebees...so of course the cake was a bee hive with a honey-glaze!

(one thing about all the images posted here -- all artificial light! it was gloomy and cold outside, so one manual flash on a stand aimed at the ceiling and this is what we got...i love it!)
