I have a new little girl in my Baby's First Year Program!  Meet baby Tatum -- isn't that name so cute!?!  I used to work with Wende (Mom) and I was so happy when she called me to setup the first of four sessions with this little girl.  Tatum did so great, and stuck in there for over an hour with me!  You could totally tell that she thought Mom and I were CRAZY when we were moving her all over the place -- we got the "look" from baby Tatum.  But she will love these images later on because we love them NOW!  Both Wende and Kevin are music buffs, and I knew they would have a song picked out for their slideshow -- and they didn't let me down!  Here is the slideshow!

Little boys sure are packed with energy -- especialy when they are set loose on a playground!  I was running, crawling, and doing all that I could to keep up with these two brothers from North Carolina.  They didn't want to sit still for even a SECOND!  But that is what I love -- when they are being who they are.  We started on the playground, then made our way to the pond, and finally went on a major squirrel hunt through the trees...it was a lot of fun!  Mom was worried that we didn't get any great pictures of these two, but I told her there were plenty -- see below!  And the fitting slideshow song right here!  Mom was a bridesmaid in a wedding I shot back in my film days, and made sure she got a session when she was back in town visiting!  Thanks again Melissa!

Grandma helped out with this one -- telling the boys that the squirrel was in this tree...it wasn't really, but what great faces!  They learned the saying "Pulling your tail..." right after this picture...

I have done this before, but I always like to show a dose of reality! :)
 

I love when I get to see families, especially little ones, as they grow up!  That is the case with Isabelle and Elorah.  These two had SO much fun at their session thanks to Mom and Dad.  They came prepared with some great stuff for this shoot!  There were bubble machines, a picnic, tea party stuff, flowers, princess wands, and bread for the ducks!  And did I mention the girls' baby dolls?  The girls just got to have some fun in the park, while I took pictures.  It was perfect, and there are so many great images.  I showed you the "Pure Joy" image earlier, and now here are the rest ALONG WITH THE SLIDESHOW!!

I posted the one image of Miss Lily last week, just because it was SO DARN CUTE.  Well...there are so many more where that came from!  I went to Lily's house for a Birthday session, and she was a dream to work with.  She smiled, made faces, laughed, and more.  Did I mention there was birthday cake for the very end of the session?  That's right -- she got really messy, and you will have to watch the slideshow to see what she looked like when she was done!  Mom and Dad picked a special song for her, so ENJOY IT HERE!

The beginning of the cake...

Sunday morning Dave & I drove out to Independence for church -- but this was not an ordinary service.  This was the Baptism of little Sisarea!  Mom & Dad decided that instead of having a 4-month and 8-month session in the First Year Package, they would combine the two and have me document the service and the huge FIESTA following!  I was more than excited, because I remember the food from their wedding (in 2004 I believe) and it is all homemade recipes!  Yes, there was even a full pig -- and tons of little kiddos everywhere.  Enjoy the LONG slideshow and this little cutie below!

Her first introduction to the church family!

Last week I drove out to Lawrence to meet a brand new little girl named Ava -- and how SWEET she was!  Her room all pink with amazing details (check the slideshow for those!) and a family full of excitement for the newest addition.  Dagen even held his new little sister for a few images, and I posted my favorite one below.  Ava is the newest member to my Baby's First Year program, so over the next few months you will get to see her again!  Mom and Dad picked a great song for her slideshow -- check it out RIGHT HERE!

Meet Phoebe -- an adorable little 1-year old that I got to meet in Lawrence this past week!  Mom had a few outfit options ready, and when she pulled out the bright pink tutu I was just FLOORED!  We started indoors where Phoebe could play with her toys, and read her favorite books -- and then ventured outside for some cute tutu images.  Enough with the words, let's get to the SLIDESHOW and the favorites!!

This was one of the last shots of the session -- I think she is trying to tell me something...
